Home Emergency Trainings

Because Safety Begins at Home

Emergencies don’t knock — they happen. At Viva Care, we empower families, domestic staff, and caregivers with practical emergency response skills to handle unexpected situations confidently and calmly. From fires and falls to burns and medical incidents, our Home Emergency Trainings turn every household into a safe, prepared space.

Why It Matters

A few minutes can make all the difference between safety and tragedy. Knowing what to do before help arrives can save lives, reduce injury, and protect property. Our trainings give you the confidence to act fast and effectively — whether it’s a child choking, an elderly family member fainting, or a kitchen fire.

What You’ll Learn

Emergencies happen fast — and knowing what to do can save a life. Our training equips you with essential first aid techniques for burns, cuts, bleeding, fractures, and fainting. You’ll also master CPR and choking response for infants, children, and adults, helping you stay calm and take decisive action while waiting for medical professionals. Participants also learn how to recognize early warning signs of serious conditions like strokes, heart attacks, or allergic reactions — empowering you to act quickly and effectively.

Fire is one of the most common home emergencies, yet often the most preventable. We teach you how to identify potential fire risks, safely handle electrical appliances and cooking equipment, and store flammable items properly. Our instructors demonstrate how to use fire extinguishers, blankets, and alarms, as well as how to plan safe exit routes and evacuate children, the elderly, or people with disabilities. You’ll leave knowing how to protect your loved ones and property, and how to stay composed even in a high-stress situation.

Preparedness is a shared responsibility. In this module, we help you design a customized home emergency plan tailored to your household’s needs. You’ll learn how to assemble a family emergency kit, build a contact and communication system, and assign safety roles to each member — from the youngest to the oldest. We also focus on mental readiness: staying calm, making informed decisions, and offering reassurance in moments of uncertainty. The result? A confident, coordinated family that knows exactly what to do when emergencies strike.
